Hi Everyone!!!
At Christmas last year, i asked a few
friends for old clothes, shoes, bed-sheets etc basically things they were not
using anymore or they could do without and things they didn’t want to take into
the new year.
I got a few responses and we picked up
these old clothes and set the distribution date for Sunday the 2nd
of February, 2014.
I was taken into a location called ijebu-
mushin. It was a really bumpy ride to this village. Below are pictures of the
distribution. Enjoy!!!!
Here is a big thank you to everyone who
made it happen in one way or the other.
1 Emmanuel - He did the pick-up
of the old clothes from various addresses.
2 Oluwaranti Osijo- Clothes and
shoes
3 Nkechi Agwuibe- clothes and
shoes
4 Tokunbo Adeeko- clothes, bed
sheets and jewellery
5 Banji Oguntuase- Clothes and
ties
6 Chidozie Oringamje- clothes and bed sheets
7 Omolara Awulonu- clothes and
shoes
8 Jide Awulonu- clothes and shoes
A big thank you for all your support. Enjoy
the pictures showing the smiles you put on faces.
God bless you richly.
If you would like to be a part of this, we
would do another distribution at Easter, dates would be communicated as soon as
fixed. However, if you have items to give away, kindly send a mail to makingdifferences2014@gmail.com
stating the items you have. We would reply with an address for a drop-off but
where you would prefer we pick up the items, we would request for further
details.
Also, if you would like to be present at
the distribution, send us a mail and all information would be communicated to
you.
We are partnering to make a difference
*wink*.

Aww.. this is so nice. We need more people like you in this country of ours. More grease to your elbows.
ReplyDeleteThis is a great Idea!! We all would never
ReplyDeletesurvive if people didn’t try to help each other. Without compassionate people, this world would collapse into absolute satanic chaos. We should all try to make a difference in other people’s lives because it makes such a wonderful difference in ours when we do. We are never told how the Good Samaritan felt after helping the man alongside the road, but I would think that both felt very good. Let's all choose to affect at least on life!!! Kudos I pray for more grace and strength...
I think you guys are doing an incredible thing. Most people wanna do so much but never know how to go about it but you guys have taken the initiative. I'm very proud
ReplyDeleteThe best part is that you forget your own worries cos u are so busy trying to make others smile. The feeling is priceless..
ReplyDelete@ Lucius Fox.. The idea of all this is also to open up avenues for people who want to do stuff like this and have no idea how to go about it. All info on how to be a part would be communicated on this blog. Thank you all for your comments!! Mwaah!!
ReplyDeleteI'm so proud of you guys!!!!. God bless you plenty. i'll definitely be a part of the next one
